Britain has a much different government system than we do. The person in charge of their government is called the Prime Minister. Our head of government, who doesn't have complete control, is called the President. Their legislative power is vested in the government AND the two chambers which are the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Our legislative branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

One of the bills that I looked into was that fireworks may be purchased and discharged at an additional time besides around the 4th of July. There will be certain provisions regarding county regulation of fireworks that will be revised. I think that this should be passed because other than the 4th of July, fireworks are a symbol of celebration and we Americans tend to celebrate a lot throughout the year.
The Second bill states that school districts are prohibited from employing school counselors who are not certified. I think this is an excellent bill because the kids and young adults need a professional counselor who knows what he/she is doing and can actually help them with things they need.
